Club Events

The Athenaeum offers its members a variety of club events every month and during each season. Club Events are created to suit the eclectic interests of our entire membership.

Food and Beverage events such as our Chef's Table Dinners; Winemaker Dinners; Spirit Tastings; and International Nights, lure the experienced palates and tastes of our club gourmands.
 
While the little ones are out of school for the summer, our Family Night BBQs provide the perfect mixture of a hearty meal and kid-friendly fun for the whole family to look forward to.

Leave the planning and preparation to The Athenaeum for holiday events. The Athenaeum is the perfect destination to treat that special someone to a romantic Valentine's Dinner; have the kiddies search for eggs at our Easter Brunch; commemorate moms on Mother's Day; and indulge in the most excellent Thanksgiving buffet selection.

During the month of December, The Athenaeum is at its finest. Beautifully adorned and illuminated for the holidays, The Athenaeum excites and warms the hearts of all who visit during this time of year.

Event Cancellation

Changes to a reservation or to cancel a reservation can be done easily online through the website, after logging in to your account, under Dining.

  • Special Event Cancellation
    • Reservations for all special events may be canceled or the number of guests may be changed up to three (3) working days prior to an event at no cost. Those who do not attend or fail to cancel within the time period noted will be charged the published price for the original number of reservations made.

  • Holiday Event Cancellation
    • In an effort to be fair to all members, holiday event registration will not open until after Labor Day for any events taking place in the month of December.

      Reservations for Holiday* events may be canceled or the number of guests may be changed up to three (3) working days prior to an event at no cost. Those who do not attend or fail to cancel within the time period noted will be charged the published price for the original number of reservations made.

      *Gala Dinner

      Due to the popularity of our annual holiday Gala Dinners, the reservations for this event may be canceled or the number of guests may be changed up to one month (30 days) prior to the event at no cost. Each registered member will receive written confirmation of their Gala Dinner reservation. To guarantee your reservation, a returned, signed confirmation is required upon its specified deadline. Those who do not attend or fail to cancel within the time period noted will be charged the published price for the original number of reservations made.
