Contact, Directions and Parking

The Athenaeum is located on the campus of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California. Anyone staying in the hotel, dining or attending a function at The Athenaeum may park in the lot in front of The Athenaeum. The Athenaeum is on the northwest corner of Hill Avenue and California Boulevard.

Parking

• Parking is only available to members and their guests during their visits to The Athenaeum. Violators may be ticketed and/or towed.
• A three (3) hour parking restriction exists from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• A parking pass is required for visits exceeding the three-hour parking limit. Hotel guests are given a parking pass by the front desk. Please inform the Private Events Office if you need a parking pass for other long-term parking.
• Valet parking may be required for private events. Valet fees will be added to the member’s account. Please make these arrangements with the private events contact.
• Street parking is available. Please read the City of Pasadena’s signs for time limits and restrictions.
• After 5:00 pm on weekdays, members and guests may park at the Holliston Avenue Garage, #4, or at the California Boulevard underground parking structure, #3.
