The Hotel at The Athenaeum offers 24 guestrooms and four suites. Located on the second floor of the stately Athenaeum, the hotel provides a quiet, serene respite for guests.

Being on the Caltech campus provides convenient access to the Institute and a short walk to The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens. The Athenaeum's Front Desk staff can assist you in planning a day's worth of activities in the bustling city of Pasadena and the surrounding communities.

The Athenaeum's dining options provide excellent food and service in one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the city, as well as outdoor patio service. Executive Chef Octavio Sabado and his staff prepare delicious, innovative meals and much-loved standards for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pasadena and the surrounding areas are also very well known for the diverse variety of cuisines in some of the best restaurants in the area.

Kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m.

Complimentary Continental Breakfast is provided for our hotel guests only on weekends and holidays.

Length of Stay
- A stay of more than one month must be authorized by the General Manager.
Cancellation / Change Policy
- Reservations cancelled between two (2) and four (4) days prior to scheduled arrival will be charged one-half of the confirmed room rate (for the entire stay) plus tax.
  
  Reservations cancelled less than two (2) days prior to scheduled arrival will be charged the full room rate (for the entire stay) plus tax.
  
  No shows will be charged the full room rate (for the entire stay) plus tax.
  
  For extended stay reservations, no shows will be charged the full room rate (for the entire stay) plus tax and the entire reservation will be cancelled.
  
  Please inquire about late check-out with the Front Desk. The following charges will be incurred for late check out:
  
  After 1 o’clock checkout: half day rate
  
  After 3 o’clock checkout: full day rate
