The Athenaeum's Dining Rooms offer gracious settings for dining. The Athenaeum boasts a varied and innovative menu as well as an extensive wine cellar.

Kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. 
Seating is limited and reservations for lunch are mandatory. Indoor & outdoor seating available. Regrettably, walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

The Athenaeum follows all COVID-19 safety protocols. Please access this Caltech link for further information: https://together.caltech.edu. Entry to The Athenaeum is restricted to those who have been fully vaccinated or have confirmation of a negative PCR test within the previous 72 hours.  Also, it is strongly recommended that high quality masks be worn indoors.

All food and beverage purchases are subject to a 20% service charge for members (25% for reciprocal and/or member-sponsored groups) The service charge is being assessed to cover the regular wages of the club’s employees, including paid leave and benefits, and other operational expenses such as additional temporary labor.

We kindly request 24 hours notice to cancel a dining reservation or we will charge a $10.00 per person fee to your Athenaeum account.
