Millikan Suite

Robert A. Millikan (1868-1953) was a Nobel Laureate, 1932; Chairman of the Executive Council (President), Caltech, 1921-1945; Caltech Professor of Physics and Director of the Norman Bridge Laboratory of Physics, 1921-1945.

A distinguished scientist and administrator, Robert Millikan guided the growth and development of Caltech for twenty-five years. Determined to put Caltech in the front ranks of scientific research and teaching institutions, his papers illuminate the methods through which that goal was realized.
